Director • The director is responsible for forming the center philosophy, center policies, and procedures, as well as ensuring compliance of all child care regulations. NCDC has hired a director with a Bachelor's degree in education and significant child care experience to ensure that the program is the highest quality care in the area. A strong background and training in early childhood is paramount to the development of age appropriate policies and programs.

Our Director Kathy Kashner, has a degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University. She is currently obtaining her Director's Credential from Delaware Community College. Kathy has worked in childcare for 12 years and has been an assistant director for 7 years. She currently lives in Oxford and has toddler twins.

Assistant Director • Ashley Murry is our assistant director. She is responsible for assisting in day to day operations of the center. Ashley has a dual degree from the University of Delaware in Psychology and Spanish. She is currently working on her PhD in Psychology. Ashley has worked in child care for over 8 years and has been with Nottingham Country Day Care for 4 years. Ashley lives in Nottingham and has 2 stepsons; ages 8 and 6. She is expecting her first child early next year.

Lead Caregivers • While the lead caregivers at NCDC are required to have a minimum of 2 years experience in the child care field, we also seek out individuals that demonstrate a firm knowledge and understanding of child development. Staff are required to attend 18 hours of training throughout the year. Each lead caregiver is certified in CPR and first aid as well.

Lead Infant Caregiver • Denise has provided in home child care for 8 years for infants to school agers. She also has a CDA (Child Development Associates) in Infant and Toddler Education. Denise is also a member of our management team. She lives in Nottingham and has 3 children, ages 15, 12 and 8.

Lead Young Toddler Caregivers • Miss Shirley has been at NCDC for 2 years. She has a CDA in Infant and Toddler Education and has over 5 years experience working with children in a child care setting. She has four children, ages 9, 6 ,3, and an infant..

• Tasha studied early childhood education at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center and is currently enrolled at Harrisburg Area Community College. . She has spent 3 years working in the childcare field. She lives in Peach Bottom.

Lead Older Toddler Caregivers • Miss Denise has worked at NCDC for over 3 years. She has worked with all age groups. She is expecting her first child this fall..

Miss Tiffany has worked at NCDC for over 2 years. She will begin her CDA certification in the fall. She is the mother of a 3 year old son.

Lead Preschool Teacher (3's) • Jill has a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has experience working with children for the past 9 years in a local child care center. She has been with NCDC for over 3 years. Jill lives in the Lincoln University area.

Lead Pre-K Teacher (4/5's) • Lisa has a CDA accreditation in Infant and Toddler Education and is currently pursuing her degree in early childhood. She has 5 years experience working with children. Lisa lives in the Oxford area and has three children and one grandson.

School Age Child Care • Miss Wendy has her CDA in Preschool Education. She has been employed at NCDC for over 2 years working with the school age children. This includes our children who are here for kindergarten care along with the students who arrive at the end of the full school day. She also is responsible for planning and organizing summer camp. Wendy lives in the Little Britain area and has a 5 year old son.
